As it is, the drivers now offer little in features aside from an equalizer. What happened, guys? An age ago, when the HS-1s were released, we had voice modulation (which, I admit I never really used) and all kinds of other neat stuff. With the 50mm drivers these headphones could be outstanding but with the over-amplification they sound like cheap rubbish.

I am sitting here listening to internet radio with all EQ set to zero and volume at '12' in an attempt to reduce distortion but it's just not working. Volume is way too amplified and dolby® settings make things worse. I have, though, been utterly dumfounded at such poor sound quality for £100 headphones. I bought my H2100s on Sunday so have no experience with anything other than this latest version.
